It can take a lot to change careers as a mum of three – returning to university to study full-time for 3 years, whilst still managing to get a healthy meal on the table every night!
And it did take a lot – a lot of passion and a committed drive to improve people’s health and change lives through balanced and tailored nutrition.
Chloe achieved a Masters of Dietetics and Nutrition, and is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a Nutritionist, and member of the Dietitians Association of Australia.
Chloe’s Philosophy
I am not a “diet Nazi”. I love food. And I want you to love food and eat the foods you and your family enjoy and which will fit in with your lifestyle.
My aim is for clients to stop dieting, and to change the way they view food and eating. To achieve a healthy relationship with food, and still be able to eat their favourite treats. I will help you to make small sustainable changes which will dramatically improve and enrich your health and your life.I will be as gentle and compassionate with you as I would like for you to be with yourself, but I will also be tough when the need arises.
I practice what I preach – I know how hard it can be to make changes, and stay motivated.
Diet is intricately linked to health and disease. I believe “we are what we eat”, but eating is a behaviour affected by social, emotional, environmental and psychological factors. I will help you to create healthy habits which will easily and effortlessly become part of your lifestyle.
You eat between 3 and 6 times a day …. I will tailor these occasions to give you more energy, make you feel less fatigued and at your very best.
I will help you cut through the overwhelming amount of nutrition advice and health trends out there, the celebrities and so-called experts, and feel empowered to know what is good advice and what is really not! I have seen all the fad and “quick-fix” diets, and have helped people who have struggled to lose weight and keep it off. Some discipline and effort is required for the long-term sustainable results I will give you …. But you will be empowered to achieve this and completely supported through the process. You can escape the dieting cycle. The best advice isn’t always trendy or sexy….. but I promise you proven techniques and information, backed by science and a flexible, personalised care plan which puts your long-term health first.
